Mintsoft Stock Forecasting: Stop Reacting to Stockouts. Start Preventing Them.

For 3PLs and multichannel sellers, a stockout isn't just an inconvenience - it's a lost sale, a frustrated client, and a dent in your reputation. And yet, for many operations, the warning signs were there all along. The problem isn't a lack of data. It's that the data only tells you what's happened, not what's about to.

That's the gap Mintsoft Stock Forecasting is designed to close.

Warehouse Management

The problem with reactive replenishment

Most warehouses and multichannel sellers manage replenishment the same way they always have: manual stock checks, spreadsheets, gut feel, and the occasional panic order when a fast-moving SKU runs dry.

Mintsoft already gives you real-time visibility of your stock levels. But knowing you're low on a product today isn't the same as knowing you'll run out in four days, before your supplier can deliver. That's the difference between reactive and proactive approaches, and it's where stockouts occur.

The result? Lost sales, emergency reorders, and the constant pressure of playing catch-up across a growing SKU catalogue.

Introducing Mintsoft Stock Forecasting

Mintsoft Stock Forecasting is a native add-on module that projects forward demand per SKU, using your own order history, seasonal patterns, and supplier lead times, and turns those projections into actionable reorder suggestions, directly inside Mintsoft.

Demand projection built on your data

The module analyses your historical order data to calculate projected demand per SKU. It accounts for day-of-week patterns and same-period-last-year seasonal factors, so your forecasts reflect how your products sell, not just a flat average. Crucially, it also factors in kit and Bill of Materials (BOM) consumption, so component-level stock is projected accurately alongside finished goods.

Safety stock and reorder points, calculated for you

Using your configured service level target and supplier lead times, Mintsoft calculates the safety stock and reorder point for each product. This tells you exactly how much buffer stock you need to hold to avoid a stockout during the replenishment window, without tying up unnecessary capital in excess inventory.

High, Medium, Low: know where to act first

Every SKU is assigned a stockout risk rating based on current stock levels, projected demand, and days-until-stockout. On-order stock is factored in too, so you're never prompted to reorder something that's already on its way. The result is a clear, prioritised view of where your replenishment effort needs to go.

Reorder suggestions that become Purchase Orders in one action

This is where Stock Forecasting moves beyond a report. When a product approaches its reorder point, Mintsoft generates a reorder suggestion. Select multiple suggestions and convert them directly into a Purchase Order or ASN inside Mintsoft, in a single action. No re-entry, no exporting, no manual work.

Built for the way you actually operate

Multi-warehouse, out of the box

Whether you need per-warehouse forecasting or a combined view across all your locations, Mintsoft Stock Forecasting supports both. For high-volume 3PLs managing large SKU catalogues across multiple fulfilment sites, this flexibility is essential.

Configurable at every level

Forecast method, history period, forecast horizon, service level target, and supplier lead times are all configurable at the client level. Per-product overrides are available for items with different supplier scenarios or seasonal behaviour, because no two SKUs are the same.

Forecast accuracy tracking

Mintsoft monitors how accurate your forecasts are over time, giving you the visibility to continuously improve your replenishment decisions. It's not set and forget - it gets better as your data grows.

One platform

Most forecasting solutions require you to connect an external tool to your WMS, export data, and manage replenishment across two systems. Mintsoft Stock Forecasting uses your native order data, your existing supplier and PO workflows, and your on-order stock visibility - all in one place.

For 3PLs, that means forecasting and replenishment for every client, managed centrally. For multichannel sellers, it means a single source of truth across every warehouse and every channel.
