Hello and welcome to our future thinking session on the future of supply chain in the whole sale and Retail Market space. My name's Ian Hart, I'm a Senior Product Manager in our ERP Division and my responsibilities are to lead the product team that manages our product to this market and set the direction and strategy for the portfolio as a whole.
So before we get into looking into the future, I actually just want to spend a few minutes reflecting on the past few years and what a journey we've all been on. In 2018 it was the year of Brexit or at least one of the years it dragged on a bit and we saw headlines such as this one – ‘hoarding for Brexit sparks race for warehouse space’. Then in 2020 struck and accelerated the shift to e-commerce. Two years further on and now some businesses feel that maybe they got a little bit too excited and are now looking to lose some of that space. Amazon in the US saying that they now have too much warehouse space and want to sell your business some. UK commercial real estate is entering a downturn apparently.
So what should we expect for the next year and Beyond? Well who knows; but what is clear is this industry is very sensitive to Global changes whether that's economic, pandemic or even political. So should we all be panicking?
Well some sectors maybe, but certainly for the Wholesale and Retail industries, I'd say that actually you guys are contributing pretty positively.
On the left we can see how Wholesale and Retail make up two of the top three highest growth industries - in fact you could argue as well top four with the Wholesale, Retail and the Repair of Motor Vehicles. Whilst on the right and that on the left was during our pandemic so maybe somewhat obvious that that was the case, but on the right we've got up to April this year when we started to get those kind of indications of a potential economic downturn and again Wholesale and Retail trade were one of the few and in fact the strongest contributors to product growth in the UK.
So our main focus in this sector is to help this to remain the case and ensure that the services we offer are having the maximum impact on enabling your businesses to continue to grow and contribute in the same positive way, but how are we going to do this?
So for me, it starts with understanding your North Star. Your North Star is the thing that you might care about a lot of different factors and in fact you will - a lot of different metrics and reasons for how you're going to ensure growth. But ultimately if you boil it all down to one single factor, you want to make sure that the commitments you've made to your customers if that's in a wholesale environment, distributing to other businesses or if that's to the end consumer, sending your products to them on time and in full. So that's the north star that we really focus on as well.
And then we have to have this understanding well how can that be impacted? There's compliance - we just spoke about briefly about Brexit and how that's added additional complexities when certainly shipping cross-border into the EU and we're still you know, most of us have probably got a good grasp of how to do that now and but there are still some challenges that are uncovering and I'm sure there'll be further changes as well. But ultimately by minimising the number of manual repetitive tasks that can result in errors, you can start to make sure that your compliance maintains to the highest possible level.
Capacity utilisation - ensuring that you have both enough staff but also stock to cover demand. I realise that depending on your business model particularly on the stock side that may be different. If you're a 3PL, you'll be wanting to maximise the amount of stock that you've got in your warehouse because that's ultimately helps with how you charge and you'll run your revenue model. However if you're a self-fulfillment organisation, you'll probably want to have just enough stock to cover demand and that's really difficult when it's a highly variable environment. We spoke about this sensitivity to all these different Market changes but also you have within that these seasonal Peaks as well.
So how do you know whether you're going to be needing X number of staff on one day versus another day or whether you've got enough stock to cover the demand during, well, it's not really Black Friday so much anymore but over that period and into Christmas.
It's going to be really challenging and that links very much into that scalability and agility, so you need to be able to react quickly to those changes. We just spoke about that downturn in markets sudden need for Amazon to sell off warehouses and you guys may be having similar thoughts and challenges making sure that you're utilising enough of your warehouse space or you might be growing and outgrowing your current premises or maybe you're getting clients that want you to ship more quickly into different regions. And you might may need to open up a 4PL model where you're starting to utilise your network to have low more local warehouses that you trust to be able to fulfill orders on your behalf into Europe.
Finally as this complexity grows although fulfillment is quite a linear process, there are lots of steps with lots of chances for any one of those to create an inefficiency and that inefficiency will have a direct impact in your ability to dispatch orders on time and in full.
And that's going to be particularly true as you start to grow and expand and increase complexity, as to how you're fulfilling orders across an ever-growing network of warehouses.
So for us really, you know, maximising that productivity across that whole process is critical for you to be as efficient as possible and to be able to absorb these other challenges as they come along; to be able to scale and have that agility to be able to predict your capacity utilisation to be able to ensure that you are confident in your compliance and that's why we saw when we look at the different technologies that are looking at being utilised by the market it's automation that comes up on top data analytics as well. Being mobile-first, being able to access the data you need and the processes you need to enable from anywhere on any device.
And then below all of that is cloud - cloud being the way if you can do everything over a web browser that gives you that ultimate flexibility, you're not tied to a certain way of working or a certain location; so that's why we see all those different things.
So, what's our vision to help with all of this? - We want to be a recognised leading ERP brand in the supply chain market.
A lot of you will be using maybe one or two of our products but we can do a whole lot more and throughout the next few slides, I'm going to be sharing some of those details and then on top of that we want to be delivering more value and differentiation through 10x thinking.
10% on the left, we still need to do those sorts of things like if you're using on-premise technology, you may want to reduce some of those costs or spread some of those Cap-Ex costs out by using Cloud hosting so we still need to be keeping that kind of Legacy systems alive, part mobile enabling that certain level of flexibility and Agility.
Historical analytics - great for giving you the data to be able to make those decisions but you've still got to think and still got to work it out and make those decisions.
API Integrations - a really simple way of automating between two systems.
Then apps as well, so having additional products and additional functions to be able to complete different actions in a in a more productive way.
So all those things are what I call 10% - they're things that there's lots of choice for you to be able to solve those challenges.
Our competitors are doing similar things and trying to solve those challenges in similar ways and what I'm challenging our business to do more of now is 10x thinking. Starting to really think about being mobile first - so we don't, speaking bluntly, we don't then care about what device you're using or where you want to work from, you can pick up any device and do whatever you need to do, wherever you are. So we give you the tools to be completely mobile first, or you could still use a desktop - that's the whole point of this, is that you can choose then.
Edge Computing starting to think about the viability of Robotics and IoT - turning those previously dumb terminals and dumb physical objects into intelligent equipment that can start to feed into that data, that Central data hub and allow you to drive further future efficiencies. Some of which as well, particularly with robotics, might allow some of those staff members to elevate themselves away from doing some of the most manual and repetitive tasks into doing more less manual, less repetitive and more impactful tasks for your business too.
Predictive Analytics as I said before with historical analytics - you're still going to make a decision well, predictive analytics can start to help you make those decisions for you so you spend less time trying to work out what the data is telling you and more time implementing and thinking about what the right next action is going to be.
Hyper Automation - so fully digitalising your processes. So rather than just connecting two systems together, maybe look at the whole process and think ‘can we re-engineer this process to be more efficient where those two systems don't need to be connected to one another’? Or if they absolutely do and there isn't a way of connecting it, and for example, if somebody needs to send an email at this time, on this date, every week, why not put a robot in place of that individual? So that's robotic process automation - so you're automating that process by automating the clicking of the button. The way it actually looks if you see it on a screen, is that you can see the mouse cursor when you're building these - not necessarily when you actually have the solution - but you can see the mouse cursor moving to the button ‘send’ and it clicks it and that's a robot doing that rather than a human being.
Then artificial intelligence - the science of using machines to help make more informed decisions and to make choices for us. The rise of the robots. That all links into those, everything to do with Predictive Analytics, Edge Computing, hyper automation can have an element of that artificial intelligence and methods of machine learning that builds into that.
But perhaps for many of us which might be the most exciting of all of that is conversational UX - conversational user experience. So, this is how consumer technology has been built for many years, you know, we're all familiar with Google and Apple and how they operate is that you just search - you use chat Bots to communicate or messaging Bots to communicate with one another and we use that so much in our in in our lives as consumers of technology. But when we come into businesses, often you end up with detailed file structures, you have lots of buttons that you need to click, you've got to send emails to one another and/or worse still, you can't find a phone number to ring someone up.
So conversational UX is about just bridging that gap between how we operate as consumers with technology and how we should operate in businesses with technology too. That's our vision and that's that cultural change for how we how we start to deliver further differentiation and value.
So, I said to you before about that ERP brand and what that looks like so now I'm going to show you. To begin with, it starts off by having that single brand and it's going to be anchored by our two full Cloud web-based SaaS products which you will all recognise as Unleashed and Mintsoft; but in this scenario, what I'm actually outlining is the things that they do whether that's inventory management, order management, warehouse management, shipping, quoting, purchasing, assembly and of course there's lots more than that, but that's just at a top level. So that's where the majority of our customers will start that journey that's going to be serving you with your core business needs/operational needs.
Around the outside of that, we include this layer of innovation so we touched on it just on the last slide around analytics and mobile first but we also add in hyper-view and workspaces where you can start to build your own dashboards of actions and insights – so you could search for the progress of an order and it will just bring that up onto that screen and give you a number of actions for what you may want to do with that.
And then of course, learning so as you're bringing on new staff, they can learn for themselves about the products - they can go to a place where they can have courses and understand how to use not only the products they're using but you may also want to add in some health and safety courses, or forklift truck qualifications as well.
So that brings into as I say innovation included all as part of one single package and then around the outside of that, we can then start to look at how we can add further value by including more of the optional ERP modules - so we've got accounting software, we've got CRMs, people management for time, attendance and pay, health and safety which I just touched on a little bit there before with learning.
And of course, some of you that may be using some of our more historic products like Delta or over on the manufacturing side even FactoryMaster or supply chain, we will start to modularise some of the functionality that will include; so, there may be a bridge that we include, we move those functions into the core products that we talk about at the top or it may make more sense to keep them and just modularise them and present them to you in a different way; so that's what that advanced WMS is alluding to there.
But what's really important for all of this to work is that we have this consistent frictionless service that wraps around the whole thing. So thinking about it from right at the point of ‘you’re a prospect and you're interested in exploring that piece of software’ - it might be that you want to look at transparent flexible pricing, so that you know what you're in for, if you are to take our CRM or our accounting software.
A free trial - to be able to try before you buy - sounds a bit cliche but it's really important, often in that buying process, to know what you're in for before you sign that contract.
Having that single point of contact so by taking more of our products, you don't have to work with multiple suppliers and get into that into that process of ping pong where one supplier is saying it’s the other's fault - if there's an issue you can just come to us.
Self-supported I talked about it from a learning perspective, but we can put that more into our products as well so we can start to guide users through our products, both from a new user perspective but also if even if they're an experienced user and looking for a bit of extra help.
That also links in with that in-product adoption – ‘Have you tried this?’ ‘Have you spotted this?’ Some of those things, some of the cases you might think, well actually it's not really relevant to me but in other scenarios you might be thinking ‘oh that could really help me I didn't realise that anchor product did that for me’.
Customisation at the edge - that's becoming ever more important. Of course the products themselves are going to be very much standardised and built for an entire market, but you are not an entire market - you are an individual business and you have individual business needs. And sometimes it's really hard for us to be able to offer the level of customisation within the core product that you might need, but if we can bring some of that customisation to the edge, so that you can start to create a more tailored service for yourself then that provides that happy medium.
You're able to meet those customised needs and we're able to still offer that really stable robust standard service to our market that we serve.
And then finally, business transformation consultancy - so working with our people, our Professional Services to understand your business, work with you. They may be able to, you know, we've got all this industry experience, what if we could spot some of the inefficiencies for you or work by through working with you and help guide you to be more productive either by using our own products in different ways, or it might be from looking at your how your warehouse is structured and maybe there’s certain things that we've seen others do that might be more efficient for you to work in a similar way.
So that's, as I say, all very visionary, very conceptual, but what you might be interested in, what does that actually look like and how and what are we actually doing that makes you want to believe that this will be true?
Starting with our anchor product here, Unleashed - we've got two streams and you'll find out more of these - so I'll encourage you to go to the unleashed session if you want to know a lot more about these details - this is just me giving you an outline of how we're starting to make this a reality.
We've got a new integration with our financials product so if it is that either you don't have one or you're unhappy with your current provider, or you're just looking at different options and what we could provide differently; then having that integration with our financials product could be critical for you in terms of being able to adopt that.
Same is true, as a recent new addition to the access family Prospect CRM. Prospect CRM again already has a built integration into Unleashed. So, if you are wanting to be able to understand the lifetime value of your customer - have that data at your fingertips to be able to know what's next best steps you should take with certain accounts or you want to keep central track of all the communications and documents and contracts information against that account, then Prospect CRM could be the perfect choice for you.
So that's what we an example from an Unleashed side but what about from the flip side for Mintsoft?
So, Mintsoft, we've got a number of LMS courses already available, analytics and Reporting. We have two standard dashboards that we're rolling out to the whole customer base but that's not all you can do. You also would then get access to a full enterprise level data engine and analytics suite which allows you to either build your own reports or work with our Consultants to build further reports. But, also with the data engine you can bring in data from other systems that you're using, to be able to create cross product or cross data analytics which can be really powerful.
On the mobile side - there's a new mobile app that's coming. Specifically to begin with it's going to be around pallets and cartons, ultimately for Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) but we're going to be moving a lot of the older functionality over to the new mobile as well and it gives us a fantastic platform to really build that mobile-first vision upon.
Advanced WMS, we have our Delta product, which already has a connection built into it and again what we'll be looking at doing is further modularisation of that but ultimately if it is that you have more requirements around warehouse management that currently Mintsoft can't serve, then Delta might be a great option for you.
And then finally customisation at the edge - so it is still in the early adoption phase but we have a courier development portal. So, all of you that are using Mintsoft already will know about our integrations to our shipping partners, but we don't necessarily have the exact one that you might need and we might not be choosing to implement that integration. So what we've created as a portal for you to be able to develop your own integrations, your own courier integrations so that's adding that's a great example, there of that customisation at the edge.
So for both of these as I say you'll find out more about them in their individual sessions for both Mintsoft and Unleashed, but hopefully that gives you a bit of a flavor about how we're starting to bring that to life.
And then finally, I just want to talk to you a bit more about that innovation including two key things that we're doing or have done, in fact that we think will add a huge amount of value to you and your businesses.
On the left the business health dashboard, so that you can view all of your customer and supplier business health in one place. So essentially what you can do with this, this is in partnership with Experian - that's where the data comes from for this - you'll get early visibility of the changes to a risk profile of a particular customer. So, then you can make that informed decision early. You can decide whether that is something that you need to mitigate or it's an acceptable level of risk. Or you might be using it for a new supplier where you're thinking ‘right I just want to have a look at these guys and make sure that before I sign that contract, they're going to be a stable quality provider for me in the future’; or a client that you're bringing on board - will they be able to pay their monthly invoice without us having to chase them over and over again?
You can make those more informed decisions; so that's the first thing and then on the right we have this 10x initiative that will be kicking off in January.
So this is a mock-up and it's probably quite small for you to see but what we're doing is building this library of applications linked to that 10x thinking.
So firstly a mobile friendly booking in calendar not just for yourselves, but also for your clients. So they can find space when they should be able to come and book stock in without just turning up and hoping that you're free or having to ring you.
An intuitive search and conversational messenger, so you might be able to make out just in the bottom right there a little speech bubble, so if you've got a client that's on the move, they can just message you and it comes up on in that speech bubble. It might be that they want to know the progress of an order - you can then search at the top - you see that search - you can put in an order number and then select it and it will bring it up on that dashboard. So you can see down the left hand side there's a number of different things, essentially you can use the search for. So, you don't have to click on say, order summary, and find the order that you're looking for - you can just search for it and it'll just bring up the progress. And then once you're on that, you can then select actions - so maybe you want to prioritise it or maybe you want to just tell the client where the progress is and how you're getting on.
A couple of predictions; so predictive staff analysis. On the right, in the middle there, you've got a staff cover profile and that gives you an indication of where you're going to be understaffed or overstaffed, so that would require you to be integrated with a time and attendance software or HR software but even if you're not, we'll be able to tell you on that sort of calendar how many staff you'll need. It won't give you that whether you're over or under, but it'll be able to predict how many staff you'll need.
And the same is true for stock, so you can just about make it out at the top there's a low stock report there, but again making predictions on how much stock you should have in at any time for each of your products. That might be ‘by clients’, so you might click on those stock clients and then notify your client. So if we think about it through a process flow you might spot ‘oh no we're a bit low on stock here I'll tell my client’. That sends it through to their messenger so that's the conversational ux. The client says ‘right we've got some stock in’ and they might type into that messenger ‘when can I next book stock?’ Which will take the data from the booking in calendar and give them some options that they can choose from. They choose the one that makes sense to them. It's going to be on the I don't know the 20th of November, and they see that there's a 10am slot so they select that. That then comes as flagged onto your booking in calendar to say that this client would like to drop stock off on that time. You can then select that and authorise it and so now they can come along on the 20th of November and book that stock in.
So there's a really quick example as to how three bits of 10x technology has streamlined a whole process to ensure that you've got the right amount of stock and the client is turning up at a time that's convenient for you.
And then finally a warehouse map which isn't shown here but we're looking at too - is you can build a warehouse, a virtual warehouse, on here and then it will heat map where you're most commonly picking products from for dispatch. So it might be that you, from that, it can then tell you well you're picking a majority of your stock from the far right back corner which is the furthest point from your packing station. We recommend that you move that stock and so then you could click on that stock and select the action to then transfer that stock in to a closer location. So having that heat map could be really important for you to be able to make sure that your staff are moving around your warehouse in the most efficient and productive way.
So there you go, there's our future vision - there's some of the things that we're looking at and also have already in flight or have delivered.
So all that's left to say is, I hope you enjoy the rest of Access All Areas. If you want to be part of the 10x initiative that I've just taken you through, let your Account Manager know, or your Customer Success Manager and I'm just going to hand over now to the Product Manager for Mintsoft, Luke Owens who's going to go in much more detail about some of the things I covered in the session earlier. Thank you.
______________________________________________________________________________________
Hi everyone and thanks for joining today. I'm Luke Owens and I'm the Product Manager for Mintsoft here at access.
During this part of the Access All Areas session, I'd like to talk to you all about our direction for Mintsoft and some of the features we've been working on to help your business connect, optimise and grow.
Many of you will already be familiar with the software but for those joining for the first time, Mintsoft is the e-commerce fulfillment solution within our suite of supply chain products combining an order management system, a warehouse and inventory management system, courier selection and label generation tools. Mintsoft allows you to manage your orders from receipt to dispatch across multiple sales channel.
For this session I want to take you through our vision for the future, some of our recent and upcoming feature releases and an overview of our now next future roadmap. Ian has mentioned it's been a very interesting few years for the sector we've of course seen many changes to the way that we export goods and the introduction of our iOS after Brexit.
We've made lots of optimisations to our code to support rapid growth and increase stability as everybody has grown massively over covid and just, you know, B2C shipping has just gone through the roof and more recently we've seen a complete rework of our Amazon connections to support their new selling partner API. As we look to a constantly shifting future, we're always looking for opportunities to help you connect to the businesses and partners that matter to you, optimise with increased traceability, listing management, forecasting and analytics, and ultimately grow your business.
With our focus on increasing your ability to deliver orders on time and in full by giving you the freedom to do more; our vision for Mintsoft is a mobile-first order and warehouse management solution allowing you to work how and where you need to.
Alongside our roadmap adding enhanced functionality, we will look to develop a suite of apps allowing you to access the full capabilities of Mintsoft from a mobile device, work efficiently and without sacrifice from a tablet - to stay mobile as warehouses and sites increase in size, seamlessly exchange records with the Android scanners; to move directly to the task you need to complete and print effortlessly to the nearest printer with our new mobile printing tool or Wi-Fi support.
If you aren't ready to take a step towards mobile working yet, you can still take advantage of the single sign-on technology all of the user interface optimisations, improved workflows and the improvements to data exchange between the front-end and scanning app. Regardless of your preferred method of work, access to analytics, training content and an increasing array of supply chain specific apps from our software platform are all available via One login.
And finally, cut down on administration, so the mobile app for your clients which allows them to access their critical order information, raise queries, book delivery slots with you or cut down on their need to call you or even have access to a computer.
As you may be aware, actually already well underway on our journey, the first of our recent releases I'd like to discuss with you, supports both our optimise and grow initiatives.
Access Data engine and analytics allows you to view key business data through our standard and operational dashboards, covering metrics against stockholding, operational efficiency, revenue and 3PL accounting.
We've included some product reports to show fast and slow moving lines or perhaps you might wish to view data integrity, such as missing barcodes or volumetrics. Special edition users can also export data to third-party systems if they wish to; you can import data from third-party connections and you can build up your own dashboards to see custom content.
Data engine and analytics will be made available to all of our customers so please speak to your Account Manager or your Customer Success Manager if you would like to learn some more.
Also available via single sign-on, on the access platform, we now have two courses full of learning content available, so one's retargeted at users of the system so it's for how to get around, how to work with orders – pick, pack, generate labels, dispatch out of the system and another one goes a little bit more into depth. So, it covers off configurations and sets of elements and this really is targeted at administrators - I'd really recommend checking this content out. It's actually built and maintained by our team of dedicated Mintsoft Consultants and has been designed from the ground up to help you get the most from the software. It can also be really useful if you've got new starters coming into the team for the first time and you just need to get them up to speed quickly.
For those of you wishing to connect to a courier not included in our extensive list of standard integrations, we've listened to that, sort of, pain point and we've recently launched a courier development portal with dedicated API. Work with the people you choose, to the partners you choose to, and build your own connections for labour of request and retrieval.
Once approved and deployed to Mintsoft, you can use the connection as you would do any other of the connections built in there already so you can still use our courier service selection operations.
You can still use offshore postcode mapping, you can still use order rules, so again you can work the way that you want to, with the partners that you choose.
Those of you looking to build an order connection, the functionality for this is still available for our standard API so you’ve still got a route through that way as well as if you wish to use the courier portal.
If you need access to it, please give your Account Manager a call if you don't have access to development resource but would still like to build onto a courier that we don't currently support, we also have an in-house development services team here at access, who'll be able to assist you.
To assist in optimising your workflows, we've developed a forecasting module as an improvement to our purchasing capability. You can account for seasonal growth, run rate, maximum reorder quantities, growth rates. lead time to generate a report that shows a suggested reorder quantity in an order date.
Once you've generated that report you can actually push it straight over to a purchase order. You can add all of the back ordered items that you require with a single click, you can even round up to the nearest carton size. When you're happy with the order, you can click a button then to email directly to your supplier.
Going a little bit further than that, so once you've used Mintsoft for a year and we've got some data into the system, you can switch from a fixed run rate to one calculated using your own historical data. This will accommodate expected growth set by you against the product line but we'll give you a more accurate reading. The more you use the software essentially the more it's going to build up that data for you.
The multi-channel retailers needing an easy way to create and manage listings, we've recently designed and built a Mintsoft listing manager. This lets you work with product attributes, categories, variants, granular pricing, descriptions and even multiple images. You can upload and modify listings in real time to the channels of your choosing.
The listing manager is available as part of our standard multi-channel plans - so please speak to your Account Manager or again your Customer Success Manager if you'd like a little bit more information around this. If you'd like to see a demo, I'd be able to help you out.
So let's take a high-level look at the Mintsoft now, next future roadmap. If you aren't familiar with this concept, now contains the features that are actively being developed at the moment, so these are the ones you will see next released over the coming weeks and months. Next contains the features that we're planning to start immediately after. It's a little less details as we're still finalising the scope and details there; and future details are current longer term goals.
This roadmap focuses on the larger pieces of development and it's in no way exhaustive. We actually release software updates to Mintsoft every week; these contain a host of improvements and bug fixes so please do be sure to check the release notes on the support portal as they come out.
The Mintsoft roadmap’s actually managed in line with our 10x initiative and the product team here continuously conduct market research, customer interviews and technology reviews to ensure we're delivering the most value, to the highest proportion of our customer base.
As Ian mentioned, please let your Customer Success Manager know if you'd like to be involved in that. As with all roadmaps, shifts in the industry or in the market may actually drive change or reprioritisation so you may think see things move around, you may see things get updated as we react to to the information we're getting back from you guys or as we react to the changes in the market direction.
Let's review a few of the features that are on here.
So in our now bucket at the moment we've got carton and pallet packing - so we're quite excited to be working on releasing this feature shortly, and this basically allows you to work with mixed cartons or pallets. You can even have mixed cartons on pallets and you'll be able to use that system for receipts, warehouse operations, picking, packing and dispatch operations as well. So you'll be able to scan entire pallets and cartons worth of stock rather than having to individually scan items.
We’re also adding gs1, so global standard of one barcode support - this will let us dispatch with serial shipping container codes and receive with them as well.
We're building out a Fulfilled by Amazon solution which will let you view and manage FBA orders. It will let you view Amazon hold inventory levels and even include them in your inventory sync to third-party channels. You can export any order from Mintsoft to Amazon, to be fulfilled from stock there if needed, and you'll also be able to raise replenishment shipments to Amazon and drive the picking behaviour to pack those within your own warehouse to Amazon standards, generate the necessary labels to ship them over.
And as Ian gave you a sneak peek of during his presentation, we're also looking at building out the Experian Business Health dashboard for Mintsoft customers so whether you are working with your clients, maybe you want to check supplier details before you start into a contract with somebody, you’ll be able to just see the health of their business if it’s a good move to make for you guys.
In our next bucket, so the things that we'll see after we've delivered the work we've just discussed - so the first one is our updated scanning app. Work on that has actually already begun, we're working through that at the moment but it's probably going to be a little bit longer. It's a full rebuild to get this thing right and get it sorted out for you guys, and what we're looking to do really with this is support B2B pallet shipments, so being able to pack pallets and cartons on the go, improves warehouse functionality, so the full compatibility with the tasking module we'll talk about next, and also the ability to generate cartons and pallet labels and even courier labels on the go.
Tasking module is our next big improvement that we're looking at planning out so this one will let you split large orders, you'll be able to create and assign warehouse tasks so transfers, inspections, put-aways. We'll give you multiple scanner-based stock take options like hold location aisle or zone cycle counts or even in pick counting. It will also provide an increased traceability as we up the level of logging through the system.
To talk about traceability and for improvement it's going to be, enhanced batch traceability. So the ability to pull one report which will show you where every item from a batch has gone or is still sitting within your warehouse.
Now if we talk a little bit further into the future, we'll look and get some multi-warehouse management improvements to be able to replenish site to site and make sure that obviously, if you're running multiple sites that you are allocating orders to the most efficient site to actually ship from.
In line with our Mintsoft mobile first, we've got some user interface updates and streamlining planned. Again, we mentioned earlier the client mobile apps, that ability for your clients to be able to raise queries with you while they're on the go. 4PL networking enhancements so being able to again, to be able to work with the partners that you choose to. Also inventory allocation improvements as well.
The final feature I'd like to discuss today is actually our Professional Services catalog. So we've spoken a lot about new features coming into Mintsoft we've spoken about improvements that we're making to the software itself, however that's not where the support from access actually stops and finishes. Alongside the more standard quote per job consultancy, we actually offer a comprehensive services list which contains fixed price, fixed outcome items. These can be redeemed against Flex Points, letting you spread the cost while still getting consultancy support when you need it most.
So if you have something like a rapid expansion planned, if you have a high influx of seasonal staff or like some training support, or perhaps you've got a high value client you want to onboard as efficiently as possible, please reach out to your Account Manager and they'll be able to talk you through some options.
Thanks everybody for joining the session today, that's the end of my little bit. Do enjoy the rest of Access All Areas. I hope to talk to some of you soon and as Ian mentioned if you do want to be part of our 10x initiative, please do let your Account Manager or your Customer Success Manager know and they'll be able to put you in touch with us.
Thanks so much, bye.
