Etsy Integration FAQs

How does the Mintsoft Etsy integration work?

Mintsoft connects to Etsy via API. Once the connection is set up and authorised, Mintsoft imports new orders at a set frequency, updates stock levels on your Etsy listings as inventory changes, and sends despatch confirmations and tracking numbers back to Etsy when orders ship.

What do I need to set up the Etsy integration?

You need an active Etsy seller account and access to Mintsoft. During setup, you create an Etsy app to generate the credentials needed to authorise the connection. You'll also need your Etsy shop name exactly as it appears on your account. Full setup steps are in the Mintsoft Etsy Integration help guide.

Does the integration support stock sync for variation listings?

Stock sync works for standard listings. For variation listings, there are some limitations. Mintsoft can only sync stock for products that have a matching SKU and an active listing ID in Etsy. When a SKU reaches zero, Etsy does not allow Mintsoft to set the quantity to zero; the listing must be made inactive by the seller.

Can I use the Etsy integration alongside other marketplace integrations?

Yes. Mintsoft is built for multi-channel selling. You can run Etsy alongside Amazon, eBay, Shopify, WooCommerce and many other channels at the same time, with a single shared inventory pool updating all of them.
