Order Rules

Add this additional module to your Mintsoft subscription for added control over your orders.

As orders arrive, the order rules module will perform actions against the order, based on your pre-set workflows.

Some examples of how you can utilise this tool are:

Order Rules

Warehouse Allocation

Suitable for those operating multiple warehouses, this workflow allows you to set up custom rules for product fulfilment.

Allocate which warehouse you’d like orders to be fulfilled by as first choice, along with an alternative in case the first is out of stock.

For 3PLs, this can also be set up on a client-by-client basis.

Courier Allocation

Courier allocation can be controlled as orders come in via upload or integration.

Logic can be applied through various avenues, focusing on:

Carrier selected by the customer
Cheapest price
Delivery destination
Product information e.g. weight, units per parcel
Order value

Order Picking

Order picking is simple with Mintsoft. Use batch templates to group orders for picking based on customisable rules set by you.

Batches can be sent to our mobile app, either to a designated team member, or to the open pool, to aid in quick turn-around.

With the addition of the Batch Scheduler module, multiple batches can be set up and ran at pre-set intervals automatically. For example, set up batch schedule to run first thing, every day, for priority picking based on the urgency i.e. next-day deliveries.

What are customisable workflows in a WMS?

Customisable workflows allow rules and logic to be built to enable the flow of data to match business and operational needs. Within a WMS, this may be the flow of data from orders being placed, through to their despatch to the end consumer.

Can workflows be customised to different product types or clients?

Yes, Mintsoft enables workflows to be customised for both individual products, and differing workflows per client, if you’re a 3PL.

Can workflows be integrated with other systems and platforms?

Yes, Mintsoft has over 150 pre-built integrations and once the data enters Mintsoft from those integrations, the logic and rules you set up for your workflows will be applied. Workflows can also enable the data to be passed onto other integrations such as courier platforms or accounting software.
