Mintsoft Product Updates

Improvements Made this Release:

MID Number:

We have added MID (manufacturers identification code)  support within Mintsoft for exports to USA which are now mandatory for certain product types to clear US customs.

You can add a client default MID code on the client customs screen, or add on a product by product basis either on the main product screen or upload by CSV.

We also now automatically map the MID to our FedEx integration via their item description field as per their requirements & MID code can now be added to custom commercial invoice template using the merge field name MIDCODE.

We will roll out MID support to other couriers as and when documentation is shared to us by the couriers.

RFC Number:

For FedEx we are now mapping the RFC number for orders to Mexico.

You can enter the RFC number on the order details page.

VirtualStock:

We have added support for External Courier Service Names.

Tote Picking:

We have added customer account setting to move stock to physical tote locations when picking for all pick types – please note this requires locations setup & assigned to a location type with the “tote” toggle enabled.

The setting to enable in customer account settings on the picking tab is - “Transfer Stock To Tote Location When Picking, Rather Than Simple Tote Allocation”

This setting has been added as a prerequisite for planned stock take feature to ensure that you can conduct a stock take at point during the day while picking operations continue. Without this setting enabled, allocated stock in storage locations could have already been picked and therefore give an inaccurate view of the stock quantity in the location.

API:

We have added a new Product in Location endpoint on the API.

Bugs Fixed in this Release:

We have added Tax Mapping for 3PL Invoice Export.
