Search for Orders

Ideally, all returns will come back with dispatch or returns notes, but that’s not always the case.

To ensure you find the right order to process the return, you can search by:

Order number
Customer name
Postcode

Inventory management

Mark returns as they’re processed to keep inventory levels up to date. Three pre-set options are available:

Good
Quarantine
Scrap

If marked as ‘Good’, products can then be booked back into location, to instantly go back into circulation for sale.

Customisable Returns

Customise your returns reasons to suit your business. Create your own drop down list of reasons, with the preset actions of ‘Good’, ‘Quarantine’ and ‘Scrap’ allocated to each.

This allows each business to set returns reasons that match their product set, rather than trying to match pre-set definitions. Some examples of the custom return reasons you could use are:

Unwanted
Arrived late
Faulty / broken

Barcode Scanning

Utilise product and despatch note barcodes to process returns and book stock back into location.

Processing single or multiple items is quick and easy with the help of barcode scanning.

How do you process returns with Mintsoft?

Processing your returns with Mintsoft is simple. Either from desktop or mobile app, you simply scan or search for the order, enter which product is being returned, assign a reason, and flag the stock’s condition. The item(s) can then be processed back into a stock location, or disposed of as faulty.

Can Mintsoft process refunds?

No, Mintsoft does not support order refunds. These will need to be handled via ecommerce sales platforms.

Can Mintsoft track reasons for returns?

Yes, Mintsoft can track reasons for returns. Once a returned item is at the warehouse and is being processed, operatives can choose a return reason which will be stored in Mintsoft. Additionally, you can set up a custom list of returns reasons to choose from.
